Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and in children (aged 3 to 17 years) experiencing this condition. It may be used in lower doses of up to 14 divided a day.
Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and in children (aged 3 to 17 years) experiencing this condition.

Side Effects:Dizziness, headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, rash, stomach pain, hypotension, muscle cramps, irregular heartbeats, and dizziness may occur. In some cases, use may be harmful.

Serious Side Effects:Severe skin reactions, sudden vision or hearing loss, chest pain, fits, and seizures. Rarely, sudden decreased vision, difficulty telling the difference, or unusual signs and symptoms may occur.

This medication should not be used for the treatment of high blood pressure.
